Please send with completed forms, the following;
Each page of the form.
Each page signed and initialed as required.
Proof of your club membership.
Copy of the inside 2 pages of last season’s APBA Licence if you had one issued.
Copy of your Waterways Licence for Drivers.
Copy of your Boat Rego for Boat Owners with HIN.
Your Medical which was only done 6 weeks prior to submitting your licence application
Ensure your Doctor has put their stamp over their signature, no stamp, no licence!
Yes, you need a Medical every year!
If applicable, your last cell test date for Cell boat drivers or Formula Future Swim test date for Formula Futures. Cell test are now 12 monthly so if you havent had one in 12 months you wont be issued a licence until you have completed one.
FORMULA FUTURE LICENCE FORM requires the following.
Proof from your Club that you are a current member.
A photocopy of the child’s NSW Maritime or other State Boating Authority Boating Licence if they are competing in J3 as this is a Compulsory requirement.
Proof of Formula Future Safety Swim Test.
Forms MUST be signed by a parent or guardian.

There is a new Westpac account for EFT payments so please ensure you deposit to the new account.

Square via the Online NSW APBA Licencing Renewal Form, or an invoice can be emailed to you so you can pay with your Credit Card
Cash (if paying in person)
Cheque / Money Order (made out to NSW APBA Council)
EFTPOS but it will ONLY be available at events where the NSW APBA Licencing is in attendance such as Tech Inspection days or race days .
You will also be able to use AfterPay with the EFTPOS machine but there will be a $20 surcharge for using this payment method due to the costs involved and you must have an AfterPay account set up to use this method.
Afterpay is available again this season for Pay Off Licences but there will be a $20 surcharge for using this payment method due to the costs involved and you must have an AfterPay account set up prior or be prepared to set one up to use this method.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
Cockpit Immersion Testing is now 12 monthly so if you haven't had one in 12 months you wont be issued a licence until you have completed one.
Any New Licence Holders that haven’t previously had a Cockpit Immersion Test you will not be able to race a cell boat until such time as you have been able to complete one.
If you have been issued a Licence and have been racing an Open deck boat and are going to be racing a Cell boat then you must have competed in and have your licence endorsed at one Club Day prior to entering a C1 event, providing you have recently completed a Cockpit Immersion Test.
To be eligible to be upgraded from a Limited Licence to an Unlimited Licence you must race/drive an Unlimited Boat to gain your required two signatures to upgrade (one signature per event). You won’t be eligible for signatures if you race a Limited boat in an Unlimited race.
Day Licences are per Day, so if its a 2 day meeting and you want to race on a Day Licence then you’ll need 2 x Day Licences and 2 will be eligible to to be deducted if you upgrade to a Full Yearly Licence and only 1 for a Half Year Licence.
Your Medical is only valid for 6 weeks from the date you have it done until you submit your licence paperwork. Ensure your Doctor has put their stamp over their signature, no stamp, no licence!

* For your renewal to be finalised you must submit and upload original copies of your medical (only the last page with the Doctors stamp over their Signature, no stamp, no licence!), your current SBA Licence , your 2024/2025 APBA Licence and proof of Club Membership, so please make sure you have copies ready to upload, thank you.

Online Boat Owners Licence
Payment will be via the Square option once you submit your online renewal or you can deposit to the NSW APBA account.
For your renewal to be finalised you must submit and upload all original copies of your current SBA Registration and proof of Club Membership so please make sure you have copies ready to upload, thank you.
Online Formula Future Licence
Payment will be via the Square option once you submit your online renewal or you can deposit to the NSW APBA account.
For your renewal to be finalised you must submit and upload all original copies of the Formula Future Competitors current SBA Licence (if they have one) and the 2024 / 2025 APBA Licence and proof of Club Membership so please make sure you have copies ready to upload, thank you.
Online Vintage and Veteran Licence
Payment will be via the Square option once you submit your online renewal or you can deposit to the NSW APBA account.
For your application to be finalised you must submit and upload an original copy of your current SBA Licence and proof of Club Membership to an APBA Affiliated Club, so please make sure you have copies ready to upload, thank you.
